Week 1
Our first weekly project was to say what we think
Blackburn is about and what we think of it and why we took the image.
I decided to take this image because its a reminder of how we have stopped using public transport and are using cars more due to the prices of public transport being raised, i also chose a rail road instead of taking a picture of a bus, because i knew i could get a more interesting shot of either a train or the railroad itself, rather than just a bus.
This was my favourite image to post on here out of the three.
It was taken in a small village near my town, it was taken at 1/250 with a F5.6 aperture using a standard 18-55mm zoom lens. it was taken at an angle instead of a favoured straight up portraiture angle because i felt it would look better different and showed more of the distancing rail line.
Week 2
Our second weekly project was to take shallow depth
of field portraits .

I chose to change this image because i thought it was quite strng enough in the style we were told to do, so i chose a different image (2 below this writing) Because i feel it is a stronger image and was taken better.
Week 3
This weeks project was on landscapes and long exposure. We were told to go out and take a landscape picture at 1/30 or slower. So i did so with the below image, which was taken in Tocholes woods.

I chose t change this image also, because i was told to reshoot it and when i went back to the location, i couldnt find it again so i chose a different image i think fill the criteria.
Week 4
This week we were told to take pictures of "Flowers in a vase" theme, we were told to do it however we liked and these are the images i produced:
This image was my person favourite image, it was just taken on the kitchen counter with everything next to each other.
This image was chosen by my tutor as his favourite to show along with his favourites from the rest of the classes.
Week 5
This weeks project was to take pictures of a "Great British" theme so this is the image i produced for this project.
This image was taken simply on the kitchen counter chopping board while making a cup of tea, there were a few images took as well but I was not too fond of any of the others. It was produced by tearing a tea bag, emptying the contents onto the chopping board and shaping the tea into the shape of a union jack. it was shot with a 50 mm fixed lens at 1.8 and a shutter speed of 1/50th of a second. I feel the picture could have been better by having the focus more towards the centre of the tea U.J instead of the opening of the tea bag itself.
Week 6
In week 6 we were told to show the skills of photoshop and told to edit an image, i personally wasnt fond of this week's assignment and i do not ersonally like editing my images, but this is the image i produced of a burn image.
To edit the image i basically edted the picture by burning the grass and parts of the building.
